Goldfish transfer to barclaycard d/d warning

I've had a goldfish card for years and each month they take out the minimum payment via direct debit and then I pay the difference between the direct debit and the total amount outstanding so that it is paid off in full each month.
Goldfish transferred to barclaycard 25/10 and I've just found out today that if you send money before the d/d is due then they don't take the d/d payment. This has meant that my balance was not paid off in full and I would have been charged interest.
I've just come off the phone to them about this as well as some other problems (no pin sent for new card and can't send another for 10 days, rang twice and each time got cut off after 15 mins on hold!). They have agreed to refund the interest under the circumstances and have said that the dd thing was in the small print of the details sent about the transfer to barclaycard (I didn't see it :rolleyes: ) but I just thought it was worth mentioning in case anyone else falls foul of this change to previous goldfish arrangements
