Should i change my £ for $ now for holiday in February?

What are peoples thoughts about the dollar exchange rate? I'm going to USA in February and have been advised to change my dollars now. Any advice appreciated. Thankyou

    Three answers - yes, no, maybe.

    Your choice. Will the cut in interest rates here (=worse exchange rate) be outweighed by further cuts in the US and the dire state of the US economy (=better exchange rate)? Nobody knows and only a gambler would predict. And most gamblers lose.

    No one knows. BUT most would agree its PROBABLY not going to fall much further since recent factors that have effected the rate are now changing or improving.

    I am going in Jan and am holding out.

    B:beer: uy half now and put the rest of the £££'s in the bank and when you see a rate that you are happy with change the rest. That way you know what half your money has cost you.
