getting a laptop help please!!

Hi I am looking for a laptop for my 12 yr old son for Christmas, wanted to spend bout £200-£250. He wil use it for playing games on the net and homework and stuff but I am totally stupid when it comes to memory etc so hope you could recommend a decent one. Thanks in advance.

Your budget is a little low to get anything half decent.

I totally agree with the above. Your budget is a little low. Please dont be fooled into buying a netbook as the screens are too small for general use and any sort of games.

At very least aim for something with 2GB Ram, keep an eye on the following sites
