FATHER CHRISTMAS AT HARRODS x 10

I hope this is the right place...sorry if it isnt.

I have 10 tickets to see father christmas at Harrods which i wont be able to use.

They have already been printed off but they print them all onto one page so they will need to go together.

these were planned as a family day out but due to a family party the same day we can now not go :-(

they are for 20th NOV at 2.30PM (Soon i know but it was the closest time to xmas that they had when we booked).

Please only ask for these if you can use them and please use as many as possible.

Sorry but i can only give these to one person.

Children and adults ALL need a ticket.

i will post to the person that wants them.

Hi, if you contact Harrods they will pass them onto the people on the waiting list - the fairest option I think.

hiya, please could we (www.postpals.co.uk) have them to offer to the families with a seriously ill child. i did contact harrods to see if there was a waiting list and they said no, i asked if i could pass them to someone else and they said it wasnt a problem as they dont ask for id anyway.

Thanks for your reply. I have pasted part of the email below that I received from Harrods: -

With all of the 70'000 tickets that were released for the two months that the Grotto is running, being fully booked within 9 days of the release date, the best we can offer at this stage once again is to place your family on the wait list. We have requested that customers do contact us to let us know of any cancellations, and so far we have had a fantastic response, with over 100 bookings being cancelled and reallocated to customers on our waiting list, so we are staying positive. Should you wish for us to add your details to our waiting list, please could I ask for the following information :

So we have been waiting to hear back, hoping we get lucky. I will now be putting in a complaint to Harrods as this is not fair.

What isn't fair, is that for those of us who weren't fotunate to get tickets went onto a waiting list. Then you find that you can come onto a site like this and jump the queue. I feel that people should follow the rules, and Harrods are telling people different things.
