  • I have also recieved these cheque, with the "P" on them, can they be used to help increase your credit limit? i.e write urself a cheque and then pay it back in FULL?? :xmastree:

    I'm not sure what your thinking is. As long as you keep your account in good order, CapOne will consider an increase in your credit limit every 6 months or so. Whether the writing of cheques and then paying them off influences their decision one way or another, I don't know but I've had my limit inceased regularly over the years.
  • Just remembered that I got some Mint cheques which were free if I used them after 31/01/06.

    I only got a measly 1K credit limit which would have to be paid back by Sept 06 but hey its easy money in my pocket :snow_laug
