Egg won't seem to let me settle my balance?

I settle my balance in full all the time but have been unable to yesterday and today, the Egg website seems a bit broke (since the new Ts and Cs maybe?). It's not showing me my interest rate when I view my card details and was unable to show my balance on my Egg credit card in EMM at one point.
Whenever I try and settle my Egg credit card balance with either mine or my wife's Lloyds TSB debit card it says my bank didn't authorise the transaction. I know there's no trouble with my debit cards as we have used them elsewhere.
Is anyone else having similar troubles?

Odd, I've used the card since trying though and seems odd it would be mine and my wife's?
With the other weirdness at Egg (not showing me my interest rate when I view my card details not showing my balance on my Egg credit card in EMM) I presumed it was Egg.Temrael

I logged into my Egg money account and got the same thing ie: no apr showing up - so i had to ring them
anyways to ask if there was a fee for bt,s and was told they are infact having issues to do with online accounts.
you could ring them and you'll get same info.0 -
I got a reply to a secure message I sent them.
It seems that Egg are no longer going to accept debit card payments from Lloyds TSB as Lloyds TSB don't subscribe to that extra Visa security step for online payments (where you have an additional password and provide a couple of letters from it).
I was told that if I wanted to pay Egg from Lloyds TSB I would need to do so via bank transfer, which I've now done. Bit of a pain though.Temrael

I am having GREAT trouble with Egg. It does not show my interest rate today, but more importantly I have been unable to view my statements for over 2 weeks. I spotted fraudulent transactions on my recent transactions list 2 weeks ago, telephoned them, they issued a new card, stopped the old one, transferred stuff over etc. etc., but I have been unable to view the statements since before I telephoned them initially.
I have emailed now 9 times and phoned them again and they admit that there is a problem, but it is still not solved The worst thing is that I cannot see if there are other fraudulent transactions on that card as I cannot veiw any of the statements. :mad:0 -

They will have blocked your old card and generated a new card for you. This automatically removes the old card details from the website as it's replaced by the new details.
Depending on the dates it can also cause a problem with the latest statement period not showing online (after you've activated the new card).
You'll need to wait until after you've received the new card and then ask that they send a paper copy of any missing statements. They should do this free of charge.
In the meantime, they'll be able to tell you over the phone what transactions have gone through on the account.
Temrael, this may actually be a blessing in disguise for anyone who uses online banking. Now that faster payments is all up and running it's actually quicker to make a payment via online banking than it is to make a debit card payment.
In terms of calculating interest it's the same (because Egg back dated debit card payments to when they were processed), but in terms of the funds actually becomming available to spend it's 1 or 2 days quicker than paying by debit card.0 -
Funny that LTSB have announced that they are joining the scheme!I got a reply to a secure message I sent them.

Unfortunately it is not that easy. I could not see my statements when I first telephoned them to warn them of the fraudulent use and I told them so at the time. I have had the new card for over 2 weeks now and even though I have e-mailed them about 10 times and telephoned them twice I still cannot see my statements. They have sent me my recent transactions which I can see anyway  but they have not offered to send me any statements even though they accept that it is urgent as there is fraud involved.
I must say I am very unimpressed.0
