dear all
im new to all things to do with life insurance but i need to start doing my homework as my partner and i intend to buy a house in the early part of next year
my partners mum and dad have some type of life insurance whereby their money is somehow invested and they take withdrawals if they don't claim on their insurance
does anything like this still exist or does it sound like an old type of policy? if so where are the best websites to go through for quotes etc
thanks in advance and :xmassign:

May be some whole of life assurance with a split investment content done on a basis where the life cover amount is fairly low, compared with the premium.
Basically, its not really what you do nowadays.
Level Term Assurance/Decreasing Term assurances are the main current products. Pension Term Assurance will replace the Level Term Assurance during next year as the main product and may very well replace Decreasing Term assurance as well.
Cheap, cheeful and does exactly what it needs with no other rubbish to confuse issues.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
