kettering to london help!

hi all

just wanted to pick some brains and see if anyone can make the above journey cheaper?

unfortunately a single ticket for today is required, and it seems to cost approx. £35 for an hours journey!:eek:

we did try ringing last night for a cheaper ticket, but as it was after 6pm (didn't realise that was the cut-off) there wasn't.

Rebooking at Bedford will save about £12

i take it i can't order a bedford-london ticket to pick up at kettering though?

it's less than half the price:rolleyes: x

If Kettering has a fast ticket machine then yes you could pick it up there. If not you should be able to buy it at Kettering station booking office.

Worst case is get off at Bedford and get the next train - I think they are every 15 mins though some are stoppers.
