Starting a DMP with CCCS

I think you may well be in time to start on 1 December, if you've already done the bank account stuff. I used October to change my bank account/wages/direct debits and collect all my credit card statements and pay slip. I sent CCCS letters out to all my creditors with a £1 postal order each on 29 October and on the same day sent my pack of papers back to CCCS. I haven't had anything back from CCCS yet (or had any phone calls yet from anyone to be honest) but I've got a standing order ready to go on 29th November so that CCCS can make my first payments in December (not sure what date though, as 25th is a bank holiday for obvious reasons!!)
Have you received the form from CCCS that you photocopy and send out to all your creditors? If you've done that, and are just sending CCCS the signed agreement and pack of documentation then you may well be in time for 1st December start.DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

Yes, I am at the stage of photocopying the letters to send to creditors and collecting statements and payslips.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970. MSE doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it. Atol numbers can be checked with the Civil Aviation Authority. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.0

Hello again :hello:
I've just checked my last statement from the CCCS as I recalled reading something on it about earlier payments in December.
The CCCS is asking for payments to reach them by 5 December as the CCCS will be making earlier payments to creditors in December because of Christmas.
Assuming everything else can be put in place in time, and you can make your first payment by the fifth, you may be able to start in December.
Very best wishes, J.Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***
Paid back just under £50,000 due to some interest added.
Dealt with my debt through a Step Change (CCCS) DMP.
