Susu - know what you mean about reading signals, a bloke could stand in front of me with a big sign reading "I REALLY LIKE YOU" and I'd still be thinking "nah he just wants to be friends" :rotfl:

I'm usually the one doing all the obvious "ooh I really like you" stuff. I mean, really obvious: I just ask them out! Has it worked? No. Have I learnt from this? No.

I've decided to keep things as they are for now. Clear my debt, save up & buy a house. Then, when I'm absolutely, completely ready I'll have a look at getting me a bloke.

To be honest, though, I'm perfectly happy on my own.

As long as my lovely friend (sigh) stays single!!

BFs are like Christmas - they can be as cheap or as expensive as you want them to be...

Well from your sig, you look like you're clearing £9,000 every 12 months...

Yeah, but I get daft when I'm all loved up. You know, going out on dates and all that. I think it's easier to be skint when you're already at the comfy stage of a relationship - not so easy when it's all dinners out and nights at the pictures or whatever.

Re the debt clearance - yeah, I've done really well, and would be able to clear it all by May/June next year (I'm saving in one hand while the debt decreases in the other), BUT I need to replace my car, so the money I'll have saved by next summer will go on that and the debt will run its natural course and end in March 2010.

Then I need to save for a house and so it continues... Happy days!

  • :rotfl: I can't think of a time when a bloke has fancied me.

I don't know why or what it is I do but men hardly ever find me attractive. It never used to get me down but recently it is stinging abit. I figured some one would eventually! but apparently not!:rotfl:

I hope that doesn't come across as self pitying! I am just typin gout loud!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

It depends on how you are. There have been a couple of times I've looked at women and just went "Out of my league." and moved on.

I am not sure he would agree with that one Zed:rotfl:

I have been watching the American Office, which is just as good if not better than the British version.

If I suddenly shout "thats what she said" at innapropriate moments blame it on that program OK:D

Aw Buffy, I know what you mean! Even if you stay single, it's nice to be fancied (and not just by the dodgy bloke in the office/pub that no-one fancies LOL!)

I just hope that when I mean "the one" it doesn't turn into one of those Take a Break style stories, you know the type: "I had a whirlwind romance and married the love of my life on my 85th birthday but he died in a freak fondant icing incident at our wedding reception" :rotfl:
