Debt free at last

Hooray, debt free last month, just in time to spend loads on Christmas, but not on credit. I am keeping within our limits.

I am just happy to be debt free again.

Keep up the hard work all you guys eating away at your debts. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Well done! It must feel fantastic!

The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

It was only (!) £6000, but the worst of it was that we had to go into debt because my partner had all of his tree surgery equipment stolen. Insurance companies didn't want to insure it as it is deemed high risk. Well they were proven right.

We had to get a 0% card (one reccomended here) and bite the bullet. Would have been easier if we had spent it on nice treats for ourselves.

But all in the past now, paid off and over the top security measures in place now.

It took just under 3 years, and a whole load of credit card jumping around to make life easier.

When we cleared the virgin card they were loath to let us go and have sent us lots of letters offering us loans and the like, no chance especially not since discovering this site. :money: to help us along the way.

Now no credit cards and no debt.
