took my star wars gifts back today and exchanged for other gifts as i picked them up in home bargains for £2.99 v £8 paid in boots
the tony & guy takeaways although not advertised in my store go through as 2 for £2, didnt get the T & G voucher but used a boots prof range 100 point voucher instead and it went through making them 50p each after points.
got the eve prim hand wash 99p & 100 points voucher
everyday indulgences body wash £2.99 & 150 points voucher
Also got the bogof on the evian wipes £1.31 for 2
In my store quite a few items are individually marked down (some of the evian was but wasn't sure it would take the extra discount off so left it)
Some of the alt range was disc to £1 but didn't get the voucher and couln't be bothered going back to the machine so that would have been a freebie.
Spent £7.29 - 432 points so my shop cost £2.970 -
today I got 2 vouchers for 500 points for the first aid, so I did 2 transactions and got 1000 pts, then spent £35 - including 2 more T&G £8.99 bottles - and got another 400 points, I bought 2 Max F products and got a free sparkly bag...now got about £34 to spend in their sale :-)0

If you spend £50 on Elizabeth Arden products, you get 1000 AC points, but some of the items are combined with a Lancome offer - buy 2 items and receive 1000 points, so you could spend £50 (if you've got any money left!!) and get over £20 in points back (more if you use a code too).
Look here for more info (there may be more too, I've not checked yet):

Some of the Evian stuff marked down so tried with BOGOF voucher & it worked! Went back to get another voucher & so excited about all these bargains I left my card in machine!!! Realised when I was at till. So if a demented woman ran up to you in Boots today asking if you had found a card in machine, I'm sorry it was me. Got it back(phew)apparently machine swallows your card if you leave it behind, assistant rescued it for me.0

Something interesting happened to me today in boots, i got my toni and guy 4 1 litre bottles and went to pay and got a stroppy assistant, she scanned everything and i gave her 2 vouchers 1 double points and the other 10% off toiletries, she scanned the d.p one but not the other and i did mention to her but she was positive she did and would prove to me at the end of sale, long story short she didnt and called a supervisor to do a refund and work out the d.p as it was 2nd use, so the refund went through and then she tried again and the 10% came off (haha told you) and i walked off with a smug smile but when i got home the smile turned to a giggle as the toni and guy had been refunded at £9.99 for the 4 bottles when original reciept had been 2 @ £7, so i got refunded £40 for a £14 sale then paid out £10.40 ish:snow_laugThe more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

Thanks to all of you who have posted new offers on this thread. I emerged from Boots today in profit, having gained more in points than I'd spent out on products - and all for things I needed anyway. I've always looked out for the extra points and two for one offers, but this way people with sharper eyes and probably sharper brains are finding even better deals.
Keep up the good work.

I am sure I will be a regular on this thread this year. As you can see from my sig I am collecting points for next Xmas.
I used to be the sort of person who ignored the AC machine but not any more thanks to everyone here.
Merry Christmas :xmassign:0 -
