I haven't managed to get any time delay stuff yet - and I actually use it sometimes - one of the shops in York had cleared all the shelves and put up the sorry out of stock stickers - and I had to get home so didn't make it to any of the others.

Anyone been in any of the York ones recently - any good ones to try?

How's this for a lapsed Boots tart - In the past 3 days I've gone thru this entire thread and am now fully up to date with the offers.

Very annoyed I missed out on the T&G "2 for £7" offer, but hay-ho!

Also today finally used up the last of my AC points, after receiving over £200 in points way back when the classic Cucumber/FF offer was on. :)

Had a good week with about 10 TD items and a few sale bargains. Can't find anything cheap at the moment in the Arometherapy range, so will try the main Bham stores this week.

    Quick questions:-

Bought a couple of the "Boots Flower Therapy" miniatures boxsets in the sale today but only thought later "could I have used the De-stress Aromatherapy voucher?" Anyone know?

The T&G Wax Stick and Serum - If I've read this right, this is in the "2 for £7" offer and a "Look Great" voucher deducts £1.50 per product. I wondered if anyone has tried taking back a single item and exchanging it for another T&G product? (I'm thinking of those shampoos I missed out on ;) ). You'd have to show your original receipt as proof of purchase I guess, but wouldn't the till deduct the value of the Wax Stick/Serum at full price against your replacement product?

If the SA allows it of course. (Unsure if the product is suitable for exchange under Boots returns policy.) If anyone's successfully done this, could they please us know. :)

No Look Great leaflets, just a sign pinned to the display - saying ask at Healthcare Counter - one per customer ...............on way to Healthcare Counter spotted at the end of some of the shelf displays were plastic holders containing appropriate leaflets.............at the end of the TD display /face creams unit there was a holder with plenty Look Great leaflets but no stock...ugh!

The skin starter packs are £9 in my boots - just wondering if they go through the till at £5 or perhaps these different ones?

Nothing in the DR range under £9 or under £8 in TD range.

Also machine only gave 150 points for £20 spend, 100 points on FCUK men's stuff and 300 points on No 7 new special skincare stuff where cheapest item was over £10. I did try to get the woman on the till to put these through the till to see if they were accepted but she wouldn't. Oh well worth a try.

They were £9.99 reduced to £5 but not in all of the stores I have been in.

anyone from Plymouth know how the boots sale is doing, considering the parking at the moment don't want to go into town unless it is worth it. whats the point in getting a bargain if i have to pay petrol and car park??

    Hi
I went in yesterday and not much going in sale or TD/DR range. Did manage to get 3 aromatherapy awaken items for 49p in total using 3x£1 off vouchers from de-stress leaflet. AC Machine not working.
Unless they are restocking TD/DR stock dont see much point going in

I read about it on this site the other day and couldn't quite believe it !

Anyway go to somewhere like Superdrug or Sainsbury's and look for bodyform securefit (its the new one) Make sure you get the ones with the pink vouchers sellotaped to the top. Inside each is a voucher with £1.00 off your next purchase (valid til June 06). So went to superdrug - they have a buy 2 packs of bodyforms for £2.00 offer and buy them . Go outside, take take the vouchers off get go back inside and get another 2 packs of bodyforms with pink vouchers and when they ask for £2 payment just give them the 2 vouchers instead. Just repeat! It works - fantastic. But hurry as stocks are very low in some places. Did all this yesterday in Superdrug - no probs. I am now stocking up.... have got about 10 8 packs so far. HTH:j

ooops that should be 10 packs not 108 :o !!!!!!

I just take off the vouchers off in the store and then I pay nothing!
    I :heart2: Waitrose

megasaver - Today I exchanged a Day Cream (previously bought for £9 less £5 TD voucher) for a single Firming Moisturiser for £10.50. Paid the diff of £1.50 cash. The till still gave me a No 7 voucher.

So I presume this means if you're buying something over £10, you'll still get the No 7 voucher even if you're not actually handing over at least £10 in cash to pay for it.

    Worth a try.

Can you take your moisturisers back and ask for them to be done as separate transactions?

bham-dave thank you so much for the suggestion! OOh don't know if I would be brave enough to exchange .... but thinking about it I did buy 2 pots of TD Night cream and I pot of day cream. Will you please let me know what you thing of the Firming day moisturiser and maybe I will have a go? Yesterday I was just so keen to get some of the moisturisers and "pay" Boots some real money as I was getting so much stuff for free - have tried the TD day one and I thinks its great!

Am assuming that there are very few MSErs in Bristol. Went into The Avonmeads branch on Saturday and they restocked the pamphlets (thank you very much!) and plenty of DR and Time Delay products.
