Has anyone had a bogof on the Natural Collection gift sets? I went shopping yesterday and saw a sign that said "Bogof on all Natural Collection and karmatherepy, excluding gift sets in the three for two mix and match" next to it was a sign that said the three for two has ended. Since it said this I thought that the sets would be bogof. The sign was on the shelf edge in from of the gift sets after all!

I spent ages choosing things just from this offer and went to the till. The lady put them through and it did not take the free items off. I then spent about twenty minutes waiting to speak to someone and then being spoken to incredibly rudely by a supervisor. The out come was that they would not take responsibility for the sign being in the wrong place and stateing that it should work in conjunction with any item not within the three for two.

As a "goodwill gesture" the supervisor agreed to let me have one of the three lots of bogof and it was the most expensive item but I could not get the supervisor to explain why she would only allow one set and not the other two. She was so rude and I was so polite and in my opinion right, but she wouldn't even listen to me and walked off saying "thats the end of it as far as i'm concerned". I could not believe how rude she was and was actually very upset. I would have usually left it at that a written a letter to the manager but I was so shocked and annoyed that I asked to speak to the manager. She came over and appologised for the rudness but would not allow me to have the other two lots of bogof. I was at least pleased that she spoke to me in a civil manner but I am still annoyed about the general lack of customer service and being misled by the sign.

I am going to write a letter of complaint about their misleading signs and the apparant disrespent for anyone elses opinions. I wouldn't allow a child at my school to speak to me like that so I don't see why a supervision in a shop has the right.

Anyway end of rant I just want to know if anyone else has had this prob with bogof or perhaps I have just got it all wrong. I probably wouldn't have even bothered if the sign had not been on the shelf edge so I just assumed that it menat those items.

This £5 voucher was mentioned on the Boots mailing a lot of us have just received but with no date. Yesterday my friend asked about it when she spent £10 and didn't receive one. Manager came and said he'd had a few people asking about it and Boots hadn't made the mailing very clear. I'm positive he said the offer was going to run from the 6th January.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .
