hi I need to put some credit onto my mobile phone and read in previous posts that people have spent £10 on their phones and got a £5 voucher. Can you tell me how to do this and what I need to take with me as never done this before. Thanks!!

You need to have a top-up card (would have came with your phone and sim card). Also you need to phone up first and register the number of your top up card to your phone. Then it's just a case of taking it to Boots and asking to get the credit put on. At least that's what I did with my o2 one so presume they're all the same, hth.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

  • Had good shop today, no TD stuff left but managed to grab a bargain or three!!!

Wondering around noticed No7 suncream was half price, grabbed a load as going on hols soon then went to the till and was BOGOF as well. So got suncream that is £11.50 on website for £2.88 each. Went back and got a load of other stuff, including some other No7 reduced goods and asked if I could use a No7 voucher, SA said fine but when she put it through didn't show up. So made a call to Boots and added 500 points to my card.

Also managed to grab a few aromatherapy body sprays for free.

    :j :j :j :j :j
  • Had a quick look for the candles so I could get one free from the de-stress leaflet and they had loads in Wakefield so I got two :)

Also on the Aromatherapy stand was some Boots Awaken hand cream
(grapefruit and lime) its a pale mint green bottle about 5" high with a sel of 87p, therefore FREE with the leaflet!

Just tried it and its very silky and smells gorgeous!

Hope this helps all those bargain hunters out there ;)

I had a good shop today and got 2 more Td items, plenty on shelves and lots of leaflets too. Went to the Photo booth and a young man put them through for me and said what a bargain it was, I have to say I agree! :rotfl:

Got some TD lip stuff today - hopefully won't wake up tomorrow looking like Leslie Ash!

Also got a cheese set (knife, board - very small, biscuits and chutney) reduced, great as a cheese knife alone would have cost me more - no we aren't particularly posh, but we a always seem to get allocated dessert and cheese with our village travelling suppers!

Took the advice of a previous poster and got some Boots bogof razor blades and razor - dh said they looked "quite good" - high praise indeed!, but at £3.49 for a razor and 8 blades it seems pretty good value to me.

Got some more shampoo and conditioner and used AC voucher.

Best bargain was no 7 sun set (3 bits in a bag for £6.00) used £5.00 voucher and handed over 300 point voucher - so they paid me £2.00 to take it away! Thanks very much to OP who let us know that these AC machine vouchers worked with most no 7 stuff.

Also got some Toni and Guy serum and wax, and got my £3.00 deducted. Yesterday bought some serum for me and some other hair gunk for ds and just got £1.50 deducted, so a real bargain today. DS in now saying he's got too much stuff - normally he's moaning that I won't cough up for the expensive gunk that he likes!

Thanks to all who have posted about these bargains - now have almost enough for that Ipod - yeah! :T

    Hi
repair radiance serum ( skin feels REALLY silky but dont like smell ).

    not sure about toner.

Did NOT like the lip pout( SORRY NO DIFFERANCE- EVEN TRIED IT ON PARTNER! ) and not keen on the line smoother ( feels nice but did not get rid of wrinkles).
Remember Cat72 that the TD is full guaranteed and if you're not "entirely happy", you can get a full refund. It maybe tricky to refund in cash when you've only part-paid due to the voucher, but I'd guess Boots'd be happy to replace something you didn't like with something you did.
Am considering getting the eye cream and body lotion- would any one recommend these ?
Body lotion @ £7 is great (although rarely use body lotion anyway) and melts into the skin. Can't see that little bottle lasting very long though!

Lots of leaflets and TD range in weston super mare, at the back of the store near the baby items they still had lots of last years gift sets and in the middle of the shelf are some of the TD massage cleansing balms reduced from £8.50 to £4.25, so i got 2 of these with my vouchers and managed to find some of the aromatherapy grapefruit and lime body sprays for 50p, so free with the voucher
I am going to miss this next week as i am going to Majorca in the morning for 4 days, in true money savers style we got the flights for £5.99 each, each way and a 4* hotel for £20 a room a night half board.
Happy shopping to everyone next week, I hope I dont miss too many bargains!!
