Mental illness and stopped Benefits

I have been getting quite ill over the last few weeks and got depressed and phychotic which led me to believe that i should cancel my benefits(wanted a sainthood) which i did. I have now been on strong medication for the last week and am sane again and cancelling the benefits was a stupid thing to do. The trouble is i don't know what to do now. If i ask them to re-instate them they might think i am trying to commit benefit fraud. I a worried now that i am losing over half my income. Anyone done the same thing and if so what did you do. Ahh
