Building and House Contents Insurance

Options
Every Year I get the usual letter from Northern Rock saying my insurance is ready for renewal and hence we have renewed this for you. Your twelve monthly payments will be attached to your mortgage and recovered each month with your mortage payments. Yeah Yeah " okay

Well I have now decided to change this before this happens. I have :o known for sometime that this is costly and now need to renew at a more competitive price. Anyone know whats the best deals out there?

Appreciate comments.

If your 50+ try RIAS (https://www.rias.co.uk ), they are reasonably priced

i can recommend Rias and also Cooperative insurance society, i pay just under £200 for contents and buildings for a 3 bed semi, fully comp.
accidental damage, items away from the home, etc etc
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
