Hi there
My laptop was setup to access the Internet through dial-up, i now have my Ethernet cable plugged into laptop. My problem is when i try and retrieve my emails, it does not connect to server.
I assume that the email program is still trying to access the internet through dial up rather then my Ethernet (lan) connection , how can i change this so o/e accesses the internet to check for message through my lan connection.
many thanks

I've been hit by this one before as well...
IIRC, you just need to go to Tools, Accounts, and then use Properties for each account to change the Connection entry.0
