Second Icesave Email - Do I need to wait?

I misread the first email from the FSCS and thought it said I should receive the second email by Nov 4th, not Dec 4th, so I just tried to logon to my Icesave account to check the balance to see/check if any interest has been credited.
I now have an "FSCS Claims" column with an "Initiate" button.
My question is, does anyone know what happens if I push it but haven't received the second email telling me I can do so?
Seems very reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland..
