Anybody know Crawley, Sussex

OH has been offered a job there which would mean him living away from home in the week. We're thinking of buying a 2 bed flat with him renting the other room out, but don't know the area at all. Can anybody tell us where the nice/bandit areas are so we can start looking in the right sort of areas?

It depends what you are use too I dont want to upset anybody but there are places to AVOID, now if you were to buy in HORSHAM that would be a much better bet, it is more expensive tho and a few miles on from Crawley. Horley is not too bad either and thats right by the airport.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0

The places to avoid are what I'd like to know! He's going to be working long hours so Crawley would be a preference if we can find somewhere decent, unless you are telling me that all of Crawley should be avoided!Make £2025 in 2025

Not strictly true. They are not allowed to fly over certain Crawley areas because the Chavs nick their tyres!

Broadfield, certain parts of Bewbush, Northgate.
Decent areas are Maidenbower (reflected in house prices)
Tlgate - Near a big park/recreation area
Crawley down - on the outskirts of Crawley.
As a place to live it has great Leisure facilities such as multiplex cinema, 2 x leisure centres with indoor pools, bowling alleys, good expanding shopping centre.
Definitely worse places to live.
