I am going to Orlando Intl (MCO) in Jan and usually book with Dollar. However this time i have had a little look round and CarHire 3000 are bringing up some really good prices.
Having never used them im wondering people experiences;
Do you get the hard sell at the airport?
Was the car you booked available?
Were there any 'extras' when you picked up the car?
Problems when dropping off?
Was all the insurance covered?
And, importantly who was the company the car was actually booked with.
Any help is much appreciated thank you.

I have used them several times in the US - they always use alamo - the great thing is that you buy the full package with them - so when alamo try and hard sell us the breakdown cover or any top up charges I know CarHire3000 have already got it covered so I can confidently decline them:D .0

Car hire 300? They are only a tenth as good as Car hire 3000, whom I have used a few times, mostly in USA. To confirm what Franklally said it has always been through Alamo and has all the insurances we Brits need over there.0

we have used fifteen02.com for years but always check the prices and its always the cheapest0

Fifteen02 were not the cheapest a few days ago..
When the £/$ exchange rate changed rapidly by almost 25% Fifteen02 changed their prices accordingly. But http://www.usrentacar.co.uk/ did not. For a 91 day hire thru Budget Fifteen02 were quoting me £300 more than US RentacarYou don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing" Large print giveth - small print taketh away. i used carhire3000 for vegas in october. beware i checked the terms and conditions before booking and after recieving my confirmation voucher to ensure no hidden extras. they booked me with advantage and my terms stated i will get a choice of fuel option. I know their little ways to try and take a full tank so i was prepared at the advatage desk. Advatage stated their aggreement with Carhire3000 has to be with a full tank (it was only a run around for 5 days so did not need it. I had to pay and take it up with Carhire3000. Carhire3000 refuse to answer directly the following: why my printed confirmation is not accepted by carhire3000 as the terms aggreed to. They have changed it after my original bookingand confirmation. yes i did fax them my copy and volunteeded to go to their office to discuss. they rejected it. Off to small claims court on a matter of principle as i hate dishonesty. PS they say that they have managed to get my refund on some charged called a/p fees which advantage tried to also get from my cc. yet to see my statement. Booking No 99330035 should they be intrested in this forum0

Agree with the others, have used Carhire3000 several times ,in the past, without any problems0

We hired through Carhire 3000 from Miami airport in April. The car was actually from Thrifty. Much cheaper than booking direct - I think they're just a broker that finds the cheapest deal in the area.
Very good.0 -
