I was thinking about this last night.. I dont think Walle is really going to appear at this location in real time.. I think it is just a place they are saying he has landed to play this game.. and if in fact it is the recycling centre.... that is easily duplicated on a film set to make a short clip etc... If indeed he was going to appear in robot form in person then they would have picked something really big.. like harrods in london etc... or a sporting event .. so I highly doubt he is going to really appear real time.. if you see what I mean;)

Actually I disagree - Neil Buchan of Art Attack fame, is due to do one of his "Big Art Attacks" from scrap which is supposed to be visible from the air... And that is supposed to be the landing spot...

Thank you MSErs, you've changed my life.

    just got this in email:

if you are coming by car a561 will get you close

dont know if you had recieved that email yet?
  • Hmm no closer than Aigburth station though.

It's gonna be on the Otterpool prom area isn't it..there's already sculpture their in the big red "Sitting Bull"

Dam it's a big area but I'm coming out of the recycling centre to somewhere a bit more accesible for Mr Buchanan's massive scrap sculpture.

This guy says visible from air so I'm thinking that for this it's most likely one of his big flat picture type creations as even pretty big sculptures are hard to see from above. This rules out some of my spots are they're simply too small to accomodate this kind of thing...plenty of big flat grassy areas though.
