If you have one of the original cashback cards that Abbey introduced at the beginning of this year then you should soon be getting a letter saying that you can earn 3% cashback on *all* retail purchases (not just food and fuel) from Nov 10 till Dec 10.

Main t&c from the letter:
1. 3% cashback paid on all retail purchases from November 10th till December 10th.
2. A maximum £10 of cashback can be earned on purchases during this promotion.
3. If they pay more than £10 cashback they may claim it back.
...
8. Cashback will show on your monthly statement from December onwards.

I had this letter last night. Was thinking about cancelling the card too as I never use it since the Supermaket cashback offer finished. Will be using it again for a month .... guess thats why Abbey had done this offer!
