hi there i hope this is the correct place to be asking this.
we are currently on a prepay meter for our gas and electric we had to go on to this due to a large bill that we couldnt pay.
we have now cleared the debt to the providor we are with and want to try and get our gas and electric cheaper.
we put £20 a week on our gas meter and £15 a week on our electric the gas is only this much when we are using our heating and in the warmer months it is about £7-£10.
can anyone advice us on the best way to go about things i would like to come off prepay but my partner wants to stay on it.
would it have to be scotish power that comes out and swaps the meter over before we look to swap to another company or will the new company do it?
many thanks for any help x

Have you considered changing to a supplier that charges the same no matter how you pay? Might be a good compromise? :)
