Well I was disappointed with my Xmas shopping event!

There were no nibbles or anything like last year!

No S&G sets, no 641 razors, no Botanics facial kits!

Couldn't find OOTW camera to look at, only regular ones in the cabinet.

Did get my 17 gwp and free eye dazzle though, and was nice and gave them to my sister to boost her total. Then when she got the 500pt TS for next time I pocketed it! Now just waiting for the Elle and FCUK OOTW to come round and hopefully one will coincide with the Xmas night at the end of the month!

I went to Boots this evening - purposely to one which didn't have the shopping evening on as I was planning (and actually did!!) spend points. I bought 342 S&G ex GWPs, 3 x razors, some no7, mostly for me, to get the men's GWP for DH's Christmas stocking. If he used up all the no7 anti ageing men's stuff I have bought recently, he'd be looking as young as an embryo :rotfl:

I did see the mag, but because I was paying with points - and it ALWAYS messes the transaction up if you put the H&B mag in the basket, I CBA.:D:eek::D

We're they out before then? I was going to buy the old GWP for OH for xmas but thought they might b further reduced at a later date? Prob not now I've not brought 1 but if I had we all know it would :rotfl: Haven't been getting into boots as much as i'd like recently not since Emma was born anyway!

Btw I got 3-4-2 - not 342 before I get into bother :rotfl:the three of them were just sitting on the shelf, waiting for me, so it would have been rude not to get them.

It is odd how things disappear..... and reappear! There is apparently little logic to Mr B's way of thinking. More likely the meany SAs.

The razors were marked at full price on the SEL, but got one price checked - that's one each for DS1, DS1 and DSIL2B. Paid at the pharmacy anyway as I was buying some stuff from there. I also picked up the S&G bag & one of the gold ones. Neither scanned without beeping, but the SA popped them into my bulging carrier bag regardless. Bless her.

Congratulations on your little baby girl - lovely name! Tiara is the expert when it comes to Oxford City Centre I pop in occasionally, but it always costs me heaps for parking cos I can never get around in an hour!

Those mens gwps have been out for a while. I very much doubt they will be reduced further in Cornmarket- they are ridiculously tight with their reductions. The Sanctuary grey bags that came out for *Mothers Day* that everywhere else reduced to a fiver ages and ages ago are still full wack there! The sel even says "Mother's Day bag" lol :rolleyes:

LOL Krispii, can just imagine you staggering home with 342 S&G sets! Lord knows what your family would say if you rolled in with that lot!

Oh dear! They had the Botanics where I was shopping today - picked it up and decided I didn't need any...:eek: and the camera was in a display right at the entrance to the store. It's an in betweeny size one - they normally have a few cameras, but not loads.

Am I the only one who reads OOTW as "out of the way!" instead of offer of the week
