  • Went to the Xmas event which was uneventful.
Lots of Botanics facial pampering sets, SEL said £4.95 so had it price checked and unfortunately it was at that price. Boo hoo

Time delay wrinkle reduce cream was £6.99, I am sure this used to be £5.99:confused: . I am going to check another store to see if they are still £5.99

Bought some vitamins and batteries on 3 4 2 and earned another blasted bluey! Any one else think these blueys are a waste of time???

On the plus side, helped myself with as many free chocs and biscuits as I could shove down me!:j
  • OOTW is it a camera? and when does it start, do small branches stock it?
    Help!!! xxx

    Anyone know???
  • ...decided to get No 7 bliss body wash at £8 minus pinky. Did two of these transactions and the SA didn't give me a bluey and so I queried it but she said because my total spend after the coupon was less then £5 I wasn't entitled to it. Hmmm, not so sure about that, it's worked for me before. When I got home and was reading through this thread I realised that the No 7 wash range was on 3 4 2 but I swear that there were no signs displayed in the Bull Ring. I'm getting fed up with Boots and their inconsistencies with signage although I know it often works in our favour. I think I should start doing my homework on the website and do a virtual shop to try a few things out before I go shopping. I'm thinking of going into a Boots this week to see if I can get a free body wash (and gift bag!) as I wouldn't have bought the items separately if the offer had been advertised. I don't expect to get anywhere and I won't make a big fuss but will probably feel better for trying. Actually, thinking about it, if I'd have bought them on 3 4 2 it would have cost £16 minus pinky = £11, whereas by buying them separately with pinky it would cost £9, but it's the principle of the thing. quote]

I popped into a local Boots tonight to try and get the extra No 7 bliss body wash but the SA wasn't having any of it as I'd used pinkies with my original separate purchases. Oh well, never mind, there's always another shop and another SA;) .

I also took back a set of miniature perfumes which I'd bought as part of a 3 4 2, which I'd changed my mind upon. I asked if I could exchange it for something of the same value and she said yes. I chose a 50 ml JLoGlow perfume which was £17.30. The SA didn't ask for my receipt and gave me 70 p change - I was very pleased with the result, especially as the JLoGlow wasn't part of a 3 4 2 and I didn't think she'd let me swap it for that. So, you win some, you lose some, I guess.

Bit confussed with my recent .com order, on my account and on the invoice in the parcel it says i didn't earn any points for my order, why? It was only a small order about £10 but that shouldn't matter shud it? Been out of the loop a bit Can't reallt afford to go boosting. Used a pinky up on the last day and received the new till spilt don't know what to get.

Going to be really cheeky now. My friend had an email saying as she was in the boots parenting club if she did a survey she would get a £5 amazon voucher which she did and used today. If any one did this and got the voucher code but won't be using it could i have it please? pm me. Thanks and sorry for being bad but dh has gone back to uni and need to pay for all his books so need all the help we can get.

Thank god it wasn't just me! I placed an order worth over £150 on .com so no points is very concerning

It's nice to see so many people enjoying their first shopping evening, well done to you all, looks like you enjoyed them. :j :j

The longer you are Bootsing the less likely you are to go as your stash will be so big you could organise your own shopping evening. I hope you all got some things for yourselves. A few months ago some of us posted pictures of parts of our stash, it was an eye opener and took some organising. ;)

I am spending points rather than cash at the moment so have given the shopping evenings a miss, but I am really enjoying reading about yours. Shopping by proxy :p

BTW is anyone having problems finding the H&B mag, or is it just me? I haven't see any yet

I have a mag pollsdoll ! I know what you mean about stashes. I had to cold turkey for 10 months, and I still have a decent stash, although there is space that now needs filling in the Boots drawer:T

  • I'm thinking of ordering the no7 skin and bodycare bags online as xmas pressies for mum & mil, as they look quite nice in the mag. I haven't seen them in real life and was wondering if anyone had bought them and liked them, and thought they were worth the money? x

i picked up one of these for my friend, it opens down the middle and falls apart with a compartment on each side with all the stuff zipped in. It looks fab to me and worth the money IMHO  especially with a 342 and if you wait for the next spend £50 get 1000 points its even better value AND a GWP !!!

I have a make-up pallette (chilli-pepper) which I purchased as a gift for myself but im now having wobbles about the amount ive spent recently :o will i be able to take it back for a credit/gift card as the make up part of it is still sealed ?? I ordered it from .com and would really like some credit to use for the sale.

    TIA
