Xbox 360 keeps going wrong, please advise

hi there

i have had three xbox 360 in total (2 from Microsoft) all are faulty.

A month before my warranty ran out i had problems with my xbox, went away for repair, then sent me a back a different console , when i got it back 2 day later that was faulty, that went back, they sent me another console and after 4 days that is now faulty.

Microsoft tell me when they replace a console they send new ones out?

as they are the manufacturer does any of the sales of good act apply for the 2 consoles they have sent me.

obviously I am outside my warranty which ended in oct with the seller, but on my current faulty consoles is in warranty with ms till jan.

can i demand a refund from microsoft, as the keep supplying me with faulty good that are not fit for purpose.

No you can't your contract wasn't with them being the manufacturer/

Before the Tozer brigade comes along alot of the time its consumer misuse if 3 are getting the same fault

It does seem a little bit odd that 3 consoles have gone down in such a short space of time, do you know what specifically the fault is (I know the ring of death scenario with them), Im nor accusing you of misuse, but if the fault is so common, is it possible their is some other external cause i.e. condensation, ventilation, power surges.

If it was the same "repaired" cosole you had returned, Id suspect something else was faulty in the item, but if were talking 3 completely new consoles, it seems too coincidental, even I would question if I was handling the console properly.

no misuse in this case yes well ventilated, my first console stopped reading discs ( 11 month old) replacement they sent me had problems with turning on ( 10 hrs of use) then one i have now lasted 4 hrs of use, was playing fifa 09 online, console cut out and 3 red rings, now wont turn on it dead, thats going back now :

so are m.s. allowed to keep sending me faulty xbox 360's with out any come back

I agree I would want my money back if mine was constantly getting replaced, but I have to admit I have never had any problem with mine.

Mines a launch xbox (number 9 to be exact, I got the free gifts the first 10 sold get)
Never had an issue, with anything except it would munch through batteries,

XBox 360s have had a fairly high failure rate, so much so it has become an object of parody amongst many gamers.

Mine works fine, and has done since I bought it in March, but it's not something that doesn't ever happen.

How come my mate in microsoft said the return rate to germany (their repair centre) is low? The parody here is gamers abusing them and crying on here
