Just a heads up that I just received an email from Tesco saying if I wanted to remain on the panel I had to sign into my account and messages. Then go and click the link saying you want to participate in the trial.
It stated if you don't do it you will be removed. I'd hate people to be chucked off for not seeing it.

Thanks Sue, I logged in to mention this. I was a bit puzzled as the email from them didn't make it fully clear that the link was in the actual message, luckily I checked my message box and there it was. I think it's a bit short-sighted of them to have done this during a holiday period, although the link is valid for nearly a month, people may miss the initial email in the flood of messages in Inboxes after a holiday.
For anyone reading this who thinks they missed the email, you can validate your interest at https://tescohomepanels.com/site1/index.html until August 12th. This link will also work for anyone wanting to join the panel.

I just got cleaning cloths today ( the jay cloth type ) just one of each, to try one for a week and then the other one. I usually only use these things once and them throw them away as I think they harbour germs. How do I test them without using them the whole week !!

Hi everyone. I'd really like to apply for this but I have a member of the house who works for a rival supermarket. We still shop at other stores though including Tesco.
I have had a look at the site and haven't found anywhere that states that employees of rival stores should not apply to be a panel member.
Does anyone know whether there are any rules regarding this?
    Thanks.

I must admit I cant remember what questions were asked when I joined...why not apply and see what you are asked in the prescreener...if they ask about employment in rival sectors then that may make you not eligable but if thats the case at least you know...

During the initial application process they do not ask if you work for a rival. So, I suppose you could still apply.
