they where updating site and got my answer for not hearing anything for over a year ( seems like a year ) :

It is important that our questionnaires are completed by the specified trial end date and that samples are used according to the instruction sheet. Our system shows that the Cocoa Butter Body Lotion trial in November 2011 was not completed using the right sample codes. This means that we were unable to use your results from the trial and our system therefore stopped inviting you to trials.

wow and thanks for telling me !
im pretty sure the codes changed half way as they changed the samples ....as im really carefull about filling in stuff ..i have asked it they will have me back ..wait and see...finger crossed

I do hope so. It's a bit worrying that it's one strike and you're out, though. The correct number to type in appears on-screen just as you start, and I always repeat the three figures to myself.
I have a bit of an issue with the actual samples. I've always labelled every sample that arrives "1" or "2" - or "3" in the case of the luxury loo rolls - as those printed sample numbers are so small. Also I was worried I may not remember which we are meant to use first... which would make the research useless.

    I don't know - I daren't test the theory!!
However, they've just emailed me to say they will be mailing my samples out separately for the latest trial, and the second sample will be posted after the first is reported on.
Now if they do that from now on with every sample there will be no more mistakes, so perhaps this is something that they will be doing in future.

Funny that the email should arrive just after I made that comment - I wonder if they read this thread at Tesco HQ?!

  • Survey just appeared in my inbox to do with skincare and cosmetic usage... I'm assuming this might be a pre-cursor to some kind of facial product trial???
