Hi all,
My wife and I are looking to go abroad somewhere in Jan / Feb for a weeks holiday to a place where we can walk along the beach and and chill out in some warm weather.
Given the current exchange rate of the £ and the fact that we don't know the best places to go as we've always gone on long haul flights/holidays in the past, can someone recommend any places and also expected costs and whether to recommend half board or all inclusive etc.
Thanx

Is this a rowdy place?
My wife and I don't want places that are full of nightclubs and night life.

I have been the the canaries, but i went to a hotel based holiday on a very quiet island-La gomera- ACTUALLY THAT HOTEL IS THE ONLY REASON TO GO THERE UNLESS YOU ARE A WALKER)can't vouch for the rest of the canaries though.oops caps. Oh,and canary island beaches aren't great, but you get the heat, and a shortish flight.0 -

Goa is good value and yes it is in India - I know people who have been for a week and said that it was worth it for that long - I would also consider Barbados as it is so relaxing there - went for a week at end Jan this year and really enjoyed it - they use US dollars there and I know the exchange rate is not great but it is reasonably priced there if you stay away from the fancy hotelsKeep the Faith:cool:0

I can't find this offer on the website. Can you help?
