Tesco are Barking mad!!!
One day they take vouchers the next day they don't!!!
The last shop I did at their Hove branch I gave them about eight different vouchers ranging from 20p to £1 all from different places, scanned them and took the blooming lot!!
Next day I said to the lady can you check these for me and she replied "none of those are valid"! Didn't have the time for a fight but I gave the identical vouchers the day before!
Let's start a thread "Stuff Tesco's" and start posting all the lovely supermarkets that vouchers and are happy to put Tesco out of business!
I bet they would soon start to take vouchers again as I know they monitor the MSE site from a friend!COMPERKING

I agree Comperking. I've already made a post stating that we consumers do not realise how much power we have until we stand together. If we could get a thread going to see which store takes coupons and we shop there I am all for that.
Tesco have had it their way for far too long. Incidentally does anybody know if Aldi take coupons?

Asda refused my Mail on Sunday voucher for £2 off She magazine on Monday said the new policy on magazines is that you have to buy it to get the money off. My shopping came to £95 but they would not take it just took the other 80 pence worth off that I had0

I really dont get what you mean by "Tesco have had it their way for far too long". Vouchers are issued by food manufacturers to incentivise you to buy their products over a competitors. Supermarkets accept these vouchers and are then reimbursed by the manufacturers for the amount. Why should Tesco accept vouchers (which they do not issue) for products YOU DONT BUY?? I fail to see your point?“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -

Tesco make a mint with profits of over £2 billion a year and I don't see why I should not be able to use coupons for a few pound off my shop, when its their policy to accept them even if you don't buy the items. For every person that goes through their doors with coupons there are plenty that don't, so redeeming the money back from the manufacturer wouldn't be a problem.0 -
Thank you for your email.
I am sorry to learn that your coupons were not accepted in our store.
With regard to coupons from brand name manufacturers, we are happy to accept one, even if you have not purchased the product. The coupon must be in date and Tesco must sell the item. If you present more than one identical coupon, then you must purchase the same number of products.
This also applies to coupons printed from the Internet. These will only be accepted at the discretion of the Store Manager.
Please accept my sincere apologies for the disappointment caused.
