Missing Goldfish Reward Points

I had 1,200+ points on my goldfish card, but when I checked my new barclaycard reward balance on the 30th October it showed as ZERO. I phoned up their customer services and was told that I had to wait until 7 days for the transfer to go through.

After 7 days the balance was still zero points. Since then I have now emailed 4 times to ask there where my points are, and on every occasion they have either given me a bulk email on how to log in to the barclays rewards web site or given me a phone number to call (customer services).

I even tried filling in their online complaint form and putting in the plainest of English that I would like to know where my points are. Their response ...
Dear Mr xxxxx, we are sorry that you are having problems redeeming your goldfish points ...

ARRRGGHHH .. IDIOTS ! I know how to log in, I know the customer services number and I do NOT want to redeem my points.

If the points are not in there by 10th November (2 weeks after their switchover) I will cancel my account. I have a zero balance on there at the moment.

On the introductory letter that came with the card it said all goldfish points would be transfered.

Has anyone else had this problem ?

    I have 12000 points and i don't know how or where to cash them... I can't see them on my online account either.I want to cash them to get away from barclays.

    My former Morgan Stanley/Goldfish card had around 2000 points at the time of metamorphosis into Barclaycard, and these points were converted into cash automatically then debited from the first Barclaycard bill...Barclaycard say they will credit each month's cashback as it's earned, but only up to a max of £200 worth each month.
  • You'r lucky. I have over 10000 points.Tried to register on crappy site and after numerous tries succeeded. However trying to log on to redeem points was another matter. Site fell down all the time. As soon as I can redeem I will loose this cars asap.

    Well its been 8 weeks since I originally complained about this.

    I received another letter from Barclaycard saying they will deal with the matter by 24th December (identical letter to the one telling me the same thing but saying November 24th).

    My points have still not been transfered and I have given up waiting and told them to insert their card where the sun most certainly doesn't shine.

    Their customer services really don't care and the way things are in general they should be caring more than ever to keep their customers.

    I'll take my business to someone who wants it.

    Phoned up their customer services and told them i want to cancel my card/account. The guy put me through to the LOST & FOUND department. I asked the girl why I was transfered there and she didnt know but asked me my card number (for the 6th time). She then transfered me to another department who asked for my card number (7th time) who then said someone will phone me back ...... do we think they ever will ?!?!
