Not sure of your meaning here. My post was sincere.
It would be a very boring world if we were all the same.
My point was that I personally - contrary to the OP's fond imaginings - would not want to be in his shoes.
But then I daresay he would not want to be in mine.
Vive la difference!
i think that most of your posts are sincere Carol - don't agree with many but at least you are sincere.
you're a mother and that is the most important gift ever - BTL's or a business, etc... are secondary - i was trying to say that everything has it's place and for different people makes it more interesting.0 -
Yes perhaps but your two properties are losing about 6 times (probably more) that amount in value per month
the amount they go up and down is irrelevant as they are not for sale and i don't pay for them my tenants do.
So you made a special effort to set up a thread telling everyone how much better you feel now your amateur BTL is not going to financially ruin you? Well done you. No, honestly.
yes i did. there are so many on here ready to find fault with everyone. I was purely trying to show taht it can work and does has a place in a well balnaced portfolio of savings and investments. I have been doing it for over 5 years and have never had a misse dpayment, never had a void, never had any disputes, have never employed a letting agent, i'd say i was the opposite to amamteur but your entitled to your opinion.
I smell you were very worried not so long ago?
I am in a fortunate position of never having to worry about anything in my life so far......apart from maybe when i did loop the loop on the A1 at 70mph!!!0 -

I wouldn't swap those memories for all the BTls in the world!

that's because he's a BTL owner - they're not liked around these parts.
liked is an understatement too0 -
The clue is in the name. Know many men called 'carol'? Or maybe you do?
