    Hello!

First time on this board for over a year (no broadband since June 2007  ). Very much enjoying getting back into the weekend party spirit though.

Anyway... all this talk about cleaning/lazy OH's and that got me thinking... I HATE cleaning my own house, but LOVE cleaning other people's houses (perverse I know). I'll pop over and give your place a good clean-up if you like - now't else planned for the weekend :p

Does anyone else's OH do the dishes and always leave just 1 pot/pan/dish not washed?
My OH insists everytime that 'that one needs to soak' etc. Does my nut in...

I do that :o My OH is actually really tidy and good at housework, he just doesn't do it here!

Well, perhaps I can hire my virtual self out to you all. Then perhaps one of you could pop over here and virtually wash my car or do my ironing!

sounds a good idea Jinky, you need to be apart for a bit or the resentment will just build up more.

    Hi Jinky

I know we've only just met, but if you'll allow me, I'll offer the same advice that I would to any of my friends. You need to put yourself first and take control of your life. Don't allow anyone else to make your life miserable - you owe yourself more than that. Do what you need to do and believe that it will all be okay - it usually is. Be strong.

  • My OH doesn`t do any housework of any kind. The only time his house gets cleaned is twice a year when his mum & dad come down to visit! I`m constantly nagging him about his washing to so every night when i go to his i sort the washing out & put it on the clothes airer, his reply is always well i`ve got 10 polo shirts for work i`ll worry about it when i get to the last 1! In fact when i first met him & started to do his laundry i found shorts in his bedroom from when he went on holiday the year before. How lazy is that!!!
