ICICI 7.1% - Jusy Applied 8.45pm 6/11

I just applied to put 2.5k into the ICICI 7.1% fixed term account.

Will I get the 7.1% rate. It says the request will be processed on the 7th.

I also don't have 2.5k in my Hisave acc (haven't used it much for a while). Will the funds be transferred from my linked current account or do I need to transfer them onto the Hisave account 1st?

You need to transfer the funds yourself into the Hisave account first. It will be rejected tommorrow.

Looking at status of service requests it says term deposit is open and was opened on 7th Nov.

I have set up transfer in for 2.5K to my hisave account.

Would it be likely I can get them to transfer the funds in when they arrive and get the 7.1%?

Also there is no way an automatic transfer form my current account has been initiated by the term deposit account is there? If that was the case then 2 lots of 2.5k would be debited. I can find no mention of this being the case but with ICICI it wouldn't suprise me.

Can anyone confirm that a term deposit takes it's funds from the hisave account and not the linked current account under any circumstances (e.g not enough funds in the hisave account)?
