i moved house 4 months ago, called all my bills/banks and gave them my new details..telephone..email and home address....
this evening i recieved a call from virgin money saying that i hadnt made a payment for 3 months, i said i hadnt received any letters, they said i didnt give them my details (which i had, as they called me on my new land line number!!!).
they now say i have to pat £249 on monday, which i cant pay! i did give them my new address but they had sent me any reminder letter, or contacted me untill now.
is there anyway i can pay them a reduced fee as i cant pay the money they have asked for in one go..and i also feel it wasnt my fault as they should have contacted me sooner...
any help anyone?

i would callthem back and point out that infact they contacted you now on your new number so this proves they recieved the information for change of address /contact ect.
however i must add if it had been me i would have contacted them myself after not recieving statement the first month, and would have queried the reason why it hadnt arrived. definatly wouldnt have left it for 3 months!
speak to them they may be able to help.self confessed 80's throwback:D
sealed pot challenge 2009 #488 (couldnt tell you how much so far as i cant open it to count it!! )0
