Icesave compensation emails

Dear All,
I am or was Icesave customer I have this week received the first email from the FSCS giving details as to how compensation will be paid out. They state that savings side will be paid out by BACS, however, customers with ISA accounts will be issued with an ISA certificate which then has to be re-invested with another provider.
Well tonight I attempted to open an ISA with ING told them what was happening with the funds from Icesave, they told me they do not accept ISA Transfers. Do you think I will come across this problem with every ISA application. or I am missing the point?. Also is this ISA certifcate value not worth the paper its written on?
Has anyone come across this situation yet ie existing Icesave customers?
Any comments would be welcomed!
Thanks
Jason

Look for ISA managers who accept inward transfers, as you have found some do not - see this post for some that do http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=4603369&postcount=10
