Prepay credit cards - advice please

Hi,
I'm really hoping someone can advise me on this. Briefly, I am a discharged bankrupt and can therefore not apply for credit cards so have been looking into getting a prepay card for the next few years. I've been reading about the cashplus card on this website that has an additional credit helper facility which acts as a loan and can therefore help repair your credit rating. This costs £4.95 a month - my question is - if I did this, will it make no difference to my credit score because I'll still have details of by bankruptcy on there?
It's just that if it won't help me anyway, I may as well go for one of the other cards which don't charge the monthly fee.
Hope this made sense to someone - I'm very grateful for any replies - thank you!
