I don't know the answer to your question, but I've previously had £1,000 over the counter from my Premier Direct account with no need to show additional ID.
Be aware though, that any 'large' over the counter withdrawal with A&L uses up your £250 ATM limit for that day. In other words, if you're borderline on the amount allowed then make sure you use the ATM for your first £250 before going to the counter.0 -

Is A+L the same?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -

If you phone them first you can order as much as you want and take it out of the PO.0

Thanks I did exactly that and they let me have what I wanted from the post officeIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

Yes, you can order pretty much whatever you like if you give them a tinkle on their 0800 number. I've had £20k out in cash from my centre PO and you just take a recent statement with you and you're sorted. The local POs are usually good for a couple of k but larger amounts need to be the main PO or the smaller ones can order it in for you if you can wait til their next cash delivery (weekly).
