Put my rubbish out this morning expecting it to be picked up early as it usually is. Anyway it was still there at 4.30pm so rang MIL who lives half a mile away and has same collection day. She said they had a letter from the Council saying their collection day had changed to Wednesday and she said i should ring them up so i did.
I have now been informed that our collection day has changed to a Monday
And its not just us, its our whole road and the next road so a lot of that rubbish is going to be sat out on the pavement till Monday as i doubt many people will bother to bring it back in (I have)
Rant over, i need a drink

Ours has just been changed too (Oxfordshire), but they didn't inform us that they were coming to collect at 7am!! Given most people put their recycle boxes out on their way to work around 8am...
A drink at 5.30pm?? Crikey!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
