Newton International Bond?

We have an ISA portfolio made up of funds which is doing badly (about 20-30% down at the current time). It has about 12k in it at the moment. The only investment in the portfolio that is actually doing well is a bond called Newton International Bond. It is about 9% up.
We (me and OH) got the portfolio through an IFA.
Since the announcment of the interest rate cut we are thinking of moving some of our cash savings (we have about 50k in a high street savings account) into buying more shares in this bond. Is this a good idea? The bond has so far weathered the financial storm and we would only put about 5-10k into this bond.
If any IFA are out there, is this considered a good bond or not?

Its done well because it was the right place to be in that period. It doenst make it the right place to be going forward and putting all your eggs in one basket carries risks.
There is a lot of potential for high yield bonds going forward but diversification and selection is going to be important.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
