help needed with wireless internet at home

ok. i am getting a laptop and will be getting broadband. that i can manage

but i would like to have the internet wireless so i can use it throughout the house. how do i go about doing this and what software/memory etc... would the laptop need to have?

thanks, oh and an answer in plain english would be really appreciated!

    get a wireless router connected to the broadband and a wireless adapter for the laptop, unless the laptop comes with wireless then you will just need the router. No aditional software needed.

    You haven't said which provider or which laptop (does it have WiFi?)
