Removing digital tv red dot on screen?

I have a sky+ box and wondered how I can stop the red interactive dot from appearing on the corner of the tv screen.. its annoying. I can press the backup button which temporarily gets rid of the dot but after adverts it always reappears! Please can anyone assist??

I don't have Sky+ but on my normal Sky box there is an option under Services > Picture Settings to set the DOG (as it's known) to disappear after 30 seconds. I can't remember precisely what it's called but if you look there then it's pretty obvious.

I think the menu option is called "on screen icon timeout" .0 -
