Are Mbna The Worst Card Company??

Are MBNA the worst card company out there? They are totally unwilling to help me reduce my payment, nor will they freeze interest. Capital one on the other hand where more than helpful since I lost my job, They froze the interest and I'm now only paying £10 a month which is all I can afford. MBNA will not do anything, They torture me twice daily requesting payment, I tell them the same story, I have lost my job and can not afford what they are requesting. I have made them offers of all I can afford (again £10 per month) but no good they won't accept. I have knocked up £450 so far in fees and interest alone since I lost my job and they are totally unwilling to help. What can I do?

how much do you owe? do you have anything to sell that will help ( car?).
do you have any money coming to you in the future ( maturing policies?).

if you have something to sell which will seriously dent what you owe i would suggest selling it. have you spoke to capital one and asked to balance transfer from the other card? they may laugh at you and it may have made sense to transfer before telling them you were out of a job but if you dont ask you dont get.

would your parents agree to transferring your credit card balance to their card and you paying them the £10 per month if they transfered to a 0% card?
one of my friends had this problem yet he refused to sell his car, he refused to sell the 1000 dvd's he had in his bedroom and ended up owing 17 grand with no job, he had to borrow £350 off his mother to register bankrupt which in simple terms wiped his debt off but seriously reduces his chance of ever getting a mortgage although if he came into some money wouold still have to pay some of his creditors.

I owe about £7,000. I have sold everything to pay them and other creditors but now I have nothing left to sell.
