Our original poster doesn't sound very happy at Asda. their job ads, application forms make them sound all sweet n family like. I filled one in a while back but was put off by that stupid psychometric test thing added to the form. You know the stuff "Do you like to work as part of a team or do you prefer to work alone?" And that other killer - "A customer drops all her bags and everything smashes, outside near where you are waiting for your bus, do you A,B,C or D". I'll do an "E" please.Sealed Pot Challenge 15 #78

I have worked for both Aldi and Asda and if i was you would stay at Asda Aldi was horrible i worked there about 14 months and lost out on loads of pay for the hours i worked they just didnt want to pay you for hours put in you are always told to do extra shifts and if you refuse they make your life hell and its bloody hardwork in the 14 months i was there i also got shipped off to work in 6 other stores in my district and they never paid a penny for travel
muys be specific to the store as ive worked for aldi with no problems, got payed right hours, i was asked if i wanted to do any extra shifts and i refused and they had no problem with that,
ive worked in a few and all of teh stores were good to work in,0 -

Same here, I've never not been paid the hours that I worked and they've never had a problem with me turning down a shift, they just ask someone else.Mummy to Oliver - 28/10/09
