Hi, I'm painting my down stairs toilet for Christmas.
But the previous owners have glued transfers on to the tiles. Can anyone tell me how I get them off?
Thanks

If the tiles are shiny, see if you can buy some razor blades somewhere and scrape them off!"Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0

Would using a scraper for taking paint off of glass and windows help.
Otherwise no idea.

i ''think'' i remember from the instructions of some transfers i used AGES ago that you should use nail varnish remover to get them off.
hope this helps0 -
I used a very sharp razoe to get them off and then wash off the remaining glue with hot soapy water.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

If the tiles are embossed with a pattern you will find it difficult to get them off with a razor blade. If all else fails Nitromors paint stripper will take them off but be careful it can be nasty stuff. My friend drowned in a bowl of muesli.
