My Daughter is planning to leave home an set up home with her partner.
She is in full time education and I know she will be entitled to claim EMA once she leave (which she doesnt get now).
Her partner is in full time work and earns £15,000 per annum and they are looking to rent a flat from a private tenant.
Does anyone know if she/they will be entiled to claim any benefits?

Also as she wont be living at home I wont be getting her child benefit, will she be entitled to this in any other form?0

She's entitled to nothing other than EMA. No child benefit, no JSA, no Income Support, no HB/LHA, no CTB. Their sole income will be his pay plus her EMA.0

Thanks Conor. Both EMA and Benefits helpline said she may be entitled to income support, but I couldnt see how.0

She wouldn't be entitled to income support as it is means tested and they would take her partners income into account.0

Income Support is only if she is estranged from home and living alone. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Diddly squat apart from EMA and a 25% discount in council tax.0
