Slow Picture Loading!

This is so MAD!
Using the windows picture and fax viewer, it takes like forever to load even the smallest images, and the system becomes nearly unresposive during the loading of the images.
They load INSTANTLY in IE and Firefox, but it's not ideal to use those as image viewers! I don't want to change to another image viewing application or whatever, unless its guarenteed to be AS fast or FASTER!

Try Microsoft Editor... Its Lightwieght and will load real quick.
Edit: 2003 doesnt have Photo Editor, Try Picture Manager.
