Hi everyone, hope everyone is OK, not read all the posts properly yet.
I have
- phoned HB chasing my tenants rent money, back pay is £1120, make no wonder I am skint! Unfortunately it has caused me to go overdrwan so wont benefit as much as you might think when it finally gets paid. Threatening with eviction seems to be working but I would rather not go down that route. Tenant in my other flat is also claiming HB after been made redundant, so less money there too. I am proper skint.
- got to go into town later to collect a letter to take into HB on his behalf
- pop into Lidl and just get fruit, veg and bread
- look at the cute kitten in the pet shop OH wont let me buy
- quick tidy up and mass laundry session when LO goes to bed tonight
- not using any heating until evenings at the moment, outting it on in morning wakes LO, try to be out in day and then we put it on to warm up about 6 before he goes to bed
- if I remember, take a bag of clothes to the charity shop when I nip out to lidl0 -
Afternoon all
Just felt I had to tell someone ....my lovely Dad has put some money in my bank account to help us over Christmas! When I saw what he had done I sat and cried (still am snifflling a bit). I rang him and he said he doesn't want us to struggle like we normally do, going without things so the kids have presents. I just think its such a wonderful thing to do and I think my Dad is lovely!
So this weekend me and hubby are off to finish the kids present shopping. Being a good DFW follower though, I am still sticking to the budgets I set. Just means we can eat over crimbo too !
Happy Thursday afternoon to you all!
From a sniffling, very happy Miss P

Tallie, regarding moving in with your mate, it sounds great, but.....!
You really need to look at whether you can afford it and what you will be required to pay your mate, for living with her. Also, if the bills end up being in both your names, is she the kind of person who always pays the bills on time etc.
If the sums add up and its somthing you want to do then there are less things stopping you. Best luck with whatever you decide.
Miss piggy, your dad sounds like a star, sometimes parents can amaze us with their kindness.
Well, only managed to do five mystery shops today, just couldn't be bothered to do the last one, which coincidentally was my free tea:o However have too much studying to do and work for my business, which will make me more money then that mystery shop would!!
However when i did some of other mystery shop, i went to the charity shop afterwards and found a great pair of clarks trainers in superb condition for only £2.99. Thats less than what i would have paid for postage and packaging on ebay!!
Now i really must go and do these mystery shopping reports:rotfl::j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j
