Thursday 06/11/08. What small dfw things will you do today???

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Going for quality again today, rather than quantity:rotfl:
-Off to work to earn some pennies
-Then off out to do six mystery shops
-Will have free tea out courteousy of a mystery shop
-Will work on counselling presentation in library
-Will use free internet access at library
-Come home and write up all six reports or as many as i can manage!!
-Type up counselling presentation
-Look for mystery shops

Think thats all i'm going to put on here for the mo, everyone have a great day.

    Hello everyone,

apologies for my absence yesterday. I was off work and wasn't on the net all day. Yesterday was a bust, food shopping, petrol in car, £4 for ticket to see Boyfriend perform in Radio Theatre Group's performance of The Hitchhiker. It was very good and well worth the £4 (even though he had two comp tickets and I didn't get either of them... long story.) I got to see him in a tux, and that is worth £4 in my book any day!

    so on to todays list

    Today I have / Will

    - check bank and panic
    - look for cheap christmas presents (but not buy today)
    - check mobile phone spend
    - store cupboard meals
    - NSD
    - drink the free coffee at work
    - get (re)started on "The Big Clear Out" PLEASE, if I don't get this finished (or started) can you all please kick my butt about it?!

Quite a short list today but I'm hoping "The Big Clear Out" will take up most of my evening
